About Me
Okay. This is the deal.
My name is Jereme, and this is my website.
(Chances are, you already got that.)
Anyway: I’m into writing, reading, fine art, not-fine art, advertising, and somtimes movies (mostly boring stuff, but Die Hard is totally my jam, too).
How I pay the rent:
Professionally, I practice content strategy. No one seems to agree on what that means.
I think it means words + pictures + multimedia + ideas.
I make sure that it all comes together nicely, that it says what it’s supposed to, and that people can discover it.
Getting from there to here...
I was born and raised in Vermont.
Educated at the University thereof. I majored in the study of English language and literature. Minored in Studio Art (mostly video production and graphic design) and Political Science (mostly theory).
Then I spent several years freelancing and working retail — let’s call it in-the-trenches research.
I moved to Chicago in late 2005. Started writing copy professionally in early 2006. I’m currently on the payroll of a big digital agency you may or may not have heard of.
Let’s party.
